
Roast Turkey with Herb Butter and CBD

Christmas turkey is a festive classic. This recipe combines herb butter with CBD for juicy meat, golden skin, and flavorful gravy.
Ingredients
- Unsalted or semi-salted butter, softened : 100 g
- Fresh chopped herbs (thyme, parsley, sage, tarragon…) : 1 bunch
- Crushed garlic : 1-2 cloves
- Grated lemon zest : 1 lemon
- CBD oil : 4-8 drops
- Farm-raised turkey : ~3 kg
- Herbs and orange wedges for stuffing : To taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200°C (fan-assisted).
- Pat the turkey dry with paper towels.
- Mix butter, herbs, garlic, lemon zest, and CBD oil.
- Gently slide half the butter under the skin, spread the rest on the surface.
- Stuff the cavity with herbs and orange wedges.
- Roast the turkey 45 min/kg. After 20 min, reduce temperature to 160°C.
- Baste regularly with the pan juices to maintain golden skin and juicy meat.
- For gravy, collect juices, deglaze with stock or white wine, strain and reduce.
- Slice and serve hot with stuffing and flavorful gravy.
