Homemade gravlax salmon combines Scandinavian tradition with a modern CBD twist. Silky, delicate, and infused with a balanced blend of salt, sugar, fresh herbs, spices, and CBD oil, this recipe is perfect for a refined festive appetizer.
Ingredients
- Fresh salmon fillet (sashimi quality) : 1 kg
- Salt : 50 g
- Sugar : 50 g
- Fresh dill : 1 bunch
- Black pepper or pink peppercorns : To taste
- CBD oil : 2–4 drops
Instructions
- Pat the salmon dry and remove any bones using tweezers.
- Mix salt, sugar, chopped dill, spices, and CBD oil until homogeneous.
- Spread half the mixture on a sheet of plastic wrap, place the salmon flesh-side down, and cover with the remaining mixture.
- Wrap tightly and refrigerate under a light weight for 24–48 hours.
- Rinse briefly, pat dry, and slice very thinly before serving.
