Ingredients

  • Whole milk (for infusion) : 300 mL
  • CBD flowers (Strawbarry Haze) : 8 g
  • CBD-infused milk (for batter) : 300 mL
  • All-purpose flour : 100 g
  • Granulated sugar : 60 g
  • Vanilla sugar : 8 g (1 packet)
  • Salt : 1 g (pinch)
  • Cherries (fresh or frozen) : 600 g
  • Salted butter : 60 g
  • Eggs : 4 whole
  • Powdered sugar (for finishing) : As needed

Instructions

  2. Prepare the CBD infusionWarm 300 mL of whole milk over low heat. When warm, add 8 g of CBD flowers (Strawbarry Haze). Bring to a gentle simmer and let infusion simmer lightly for about 30 minutes. Strain through a fine sieve to collect the infused milk. Reserve 300 mL for the batter.
  3. Prep oven and cherriesPreheat oven to 210 °C (410 °F). Wash and pit the cherries. Butter a 24–26 cm (9–10 in) baking dish.
  4. Make the batterIn a bowl, combine 100 g flour, 60 g granulated sugar, 8 g vanilla sugar and 1 g salt. Whisk in 4 eggs one at a time. Slowly pour in 300 mL CBD-infused milk while whisking until smooth. Add 40 g melted butter (of the 60 g) and mix.
  5. Assemble and bakeArrange 600 g cherries in the buttered dish. Pour the batter over them. Bake 10 minutes at 210 °C (410 °F), then reduce oven to 180 °C (355 °F) and bake 20 more minutes, until set and golden.
  6. Finish and serveLet cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar before serving. Serve warm or chilled.
