
Mexican CBD Hot Chocolate

Rich, spicy, and elegant, this hot chocolate is one of our favorite indulgences. Perfect all year round, topped with whipped cream and served with a cinnamon stick for stirring.
Ingredients
- Dark chocolate or hot cocoa mix : 90 g
- Chocolate syrup : 25 g
- CBD butter : 2 tsp
- Chili powder (optional) : 2 small pinches
- Whole milk, warmed : 120 mL
- Water, warmed : 360 mL
- Ground cinnamon or cayenne pepper (for garnish) : ¼ tsp or 2 pinches
Instructions
- In a saucepan, whisk together the hot cocoa mix, chocolate syrup, CBD butter, and chili powder (if using) over medium-low heat until the butter has melted and the mixture is smooth.
- Add the warm milk and whisk until well combined.
- Add the warm water and whisk to combine. Reduce heat to low and heat the chocolate for 2-3 minutes.
- Divide the hot chocolate between 2 mugs and garnish each with ¼ tsp of cinnamon. Serve immediately.
